The Cloud computing concept involves distributed computing over a network, where a program or application may run on many connected computers at the same time. It specifically refers to a computing hardware machine or group of computing hardware machines commonly referred as a server connected through a communication network such as the Internet, an intranet, a Local Area Network (LAN), or a Wide Area Network (WAN). A user needs permission to access the server for using the server’s power to run an application, store data, or perform any other computing task. It provides a benefit, which allows users to access and run application from anywhere in the world with the help of Internet or any other connected platform. The term cloud computing is mostly used to sell hosted services in the sense of application service positioning that run client server software at a remote location. Such services are commonly known as “SaaS” (Software as a Service), “PaaS” (Platform as a Service), “IaaS” (Infrastructure as a Service), “HaaS” (Hardware as a Service), and “EaaS” (Everything as a Service).
