The U.S leads the market due to its large domestic market and use of mass production. Considering the overall vehicle demand in the country, environmental regulations, and legislations, the demand for automotive lightings in the U.S. market would feasibly increase at a promising rate in the coming future. The second largest market in the region is that of Mexico, also the eighth largest vehicle producer in the world. The reason for this growth in the vehicle production is mainly because of its close proximity to the U.S, increasing population, and also due to the demands arising with new lifestyles. The North American automotive lightings market was valued at $4.06 billion in 2013, to grow at 6.9% annually. It is projected to reach $5.68 billion by the end of 2018.
